तीव्र दुष्काळाचे चटके..

बारामती परिसरात विहिरी कोरड्या पडल्या आहेत. पाण्याचे अन्य स्त्रोत बंद पडल्याने मोठ्या प्रमाणात पाणी टंचाई निर्माण झाली आहे. तहानचे स्वयंसेवक एप्रिल महिन्यात दुष्काळग्रस्त भागाचा दौरा करत, उंडवडी सुपे गावात गेले तेव्हा परिस्थिती फार भयानक होती. पाणी पुरवठा करणारी विहीर/आड मध्ये पाण्याने तर अक्षरश तल गाटला होता. महिलांना हंडाभर पाण्यासाठी भर दुपारच्या उन्हात वणवण करावी लागत आहे. ग्रामस्त ट्रैक्टर व दुचाकीवरून जिथे मिळेल तेथून पाणी आणत … Continue reading तीव्र दुष्काळाचे चटके..

सव्वा लाख लोकसंख्येला फक्त 55 टँकरने पाणी पुरवठा !!

“तहान” या मोहिमेअंतर्गत आम्ही पुण्यातील काही विद्यार्थ्यांनी एकत्र येऊन महाराष्ट्रातील दुष्काळग्रस्त भागाला पाणी पुरवण्याचे ठरवलेले आहे. जसे आपणास माहीतच आहे की गेल्या 40 वर्षातील सर्वात भयंकर दुष्काळ यंदा महाराष्ट्रात पडला आहे आणि लोकांची परिस्थिती अत्यंत हलाखीची असून त्यांना पिण्याचे पाणीसुद्धा उपलब्ध नाही.

तहान व संलग्न सामाजिक संस्थांमार्फत तर्फे देऊळगाव रसाळ, कारखेल, खराडेवाडी, उंडवडी सुपे, कुतवळवाडी,  पानसरेवाडी आणी साबळेवाडी. ह्या गावांमध्ये टँकरने द्वारे पाणी पुरवठा केला जात आहे.
